WC Buildings and Linn Concrete at the house first thing this morning, 7:30am, with concrete truck and 8 man crew. Cupola will go on after final inspection. Jill and I have been very impressed with the dedication of WC Buildings throughout this entire process.

Ohio offering college grads homebuying help!!!!
Ohio is seeking to keep more natives in the Buckeye State after college with a new program that lightens the load for home-buying graduates.
The Ohio Housing Finance Agency on Monday opened up the Grants for Grads program, an initiative that gives any graduate of an Ohio high school a 2.5 percent break on the purchase price of a home within 18 months of graduating from college. Grads don’t receive the full benefit of the break, which helps with down-payment and closing costs, unless they stay in the house for at least five years.

The program got a final legislative OK as a part of the two-year budget Gov. Ted Strickland signed in July. Erin Biehl, a spokeswoman for the agency, said $1 million initially has been set aside for the program but officials hope it will eventually become self-sustaining.

Life can be a cabaret
NEWARK — Tables of four clustered together, dim lights and the performer so close you can hear him whisper. It is the hip, nightclub atmosphere audiences might expect to have to drive to Columbus to experience -- except it is right here at the Midland Theatre.Several times a year the historic theater sheds its more formal airs and transforms into a casual setting for its Stage Door Cabaret Series. Approximately 100 music lovers sit on stage with the performer, enjoying music, conversation and a cash bar.
"While we're not the only theater presenting a cabaret series, we were among the first and in the distinct minority," said Midland executive director Mike Morris.
