Mentoring does make a difference....

After returning from the Licking County United Way's Recognition Breakfast at Cherry Valley Lodge, I was really impressed by three things:

•The packed house of people who were all up early showing their support for the "Live United" work of United Way.

•The excellent performance of the Newark High School Sinfonia under the direction of Susan Larson. (What a source of pride these students are for Newark. They well deserved to be recognized nationally.)
